In our church, we have seen an increase in the number of people using the GLN cell model. People now understand and you get the sense that the church is now locked in to move forward in a greater way. All of our leaders are emerging through our cells as we train them as spiritual parents and carecell leaders. One exciting event that is happening in our church regarding cells has been the transition of an older age group like seniors to becoming a cell. Just to see the level of enthusiasm in these older people is very exciting. One retired pastor actually said that he hasn’t felt so enthusiastic about anything for a very long time as he has since he has been part of a cell.

For 20 years, I’ve wanted a vehicle to put into place principles that I believed in Scripture but I’ve never had the vehicle to run on but I believe now, we’ve got the vehicle. It is just a matter of persevering to achieve the results that I know are possible. To pursue it and continue to work it until it happens and it will happen as we change our mentality. I see it totally scriptural. There has been an incredible change in the hearts of the people. People have experienced ministry opportunities because of the implementation of the Cell church model, they now have opportunities to preach and grow and become fulfilled and confident in their own lives and this is such a blessing to me. This is what I want to see happen – disciples, not just numbers in the church but to see lives change and this has happened.

The strategies and concepts have had a beneficial impact especially with regard to a growing passion and vision towards reaching out to those yet to know Christ. It has given the church a clear sense of purpose and sense of mission.

This is the first time I have come across a comprehensive process and a step-by-step approach for transitioning to a cell church. What it did for me personally was not so much convince me of the need to be a cell church, but clarify the process to achieve what we had already committed our hearts to and had begun the journey to fulfil. The systematic and simple step-by-step teaching both on transitioning the church, teaching the skills and building the values into the hearts of people are now tremendously helpful. The influence on pastors throughout our region has been significant.
My personal evaluation of the conference and material that is available through Trinity is that it has been of great assistance to us in establishing our church on a cell model. The other vitally important aspect to note is the exceptional attitude of service and humility demonstrated by all the representatives of Trinity Christian Centre Singapore as they have served and supported us during the sessions. The assistance we have received from our association with Trinity Christian Centre has enabled us to receive better definition in the cell church transition and building process.

Things have really changed here. Much more progress has taken place in the last nine months since returning from the Singapore conference, compared to the first two years of implementation before that:
- The church is realizing its true calling as a 'sent' community; people are taking up their place and their responsibility.
- The level of servanthood is increasing. We have a long way to go, but it has changed substantially.
- Tithes and offerings are up about a third, missions are up 400%.
- Best of all, souls are being saved. Just a steady flow, but it has started.
Hope you don't mind me raving on a little here. It is all about Jesus and His will being done!
The Townsville conference was awesome, just the best thing that has happened for a long time. The potential this conference could have on the East Coast of Australia is staggering. If we follow through well with this, in a few years we will have a great harvest.

Thank you for a wonderful few days spent with you during the Cell Church Conference in Singapore. The ministry was excellent, the atmosphere was inspiring, the hospitality was warm and encouraging, the value was 'out of this world' and many friendships were established. It was an unforgettable experience and we feel ready to start a new season. We are confident we are on the right track. Thank you once again!
